Saudi Arabia plans to send tourists into open space: the deadline has been announced
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to launch a groundbreaking space tourism experience in partnership with Halo Space, a Spanish space travel startup and pioneer in the space tourism sector.
Madrid-based Halo Space Co., which provides services to outer space, plans to test a trip to the second layer of the Earth's atmosphere from Saudi Arabia in June 2026, as reported by Mashable.
Now, tourists and residents of Saudi Arabia will be able to book trips to the Earth's stratosphere as early as 2026 for $164,000, or 602,000 dirhams per person.
The Madrid-based company, founded in 2021, has chosen the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of its destinations. The Halo Space Company is planning a test flight in June 2026, which will allow people to travel to the second layer of the Earth's atmosphere.
