In Croatia, fasting food has become an integral part of the culinary heritage and is widely available throughout the country.

2. Koravi Goulash

If you don't eat meat, you don't have to give up a hot goulash-like dish. The recipe for Koravi goulash is a great dish made from potatoes, peas, onions, and tomato juice. 3. Forced Cabbage (Prisiljeno Zelje)

For Croats, "Prisiljeno zelje" is a convenient dish that they eat as a standalone dish or in combination with other side dishes. This popular Balkan dish is made from cabbage, onions, tomato puree, salt, and sugar. Locals often add their favorite flavors, such as parsley, cumin, and green onions.

4. Zlevanka
