The airline HiSky is launching direct flights between Bucharest and Bordeaux
From December of this year, Romanian passengers will be able to travel directly to the world wine capital of Bordeaux. This is the only direct flight between Bucharest and Bordeaux and the first flight to France to be launched by HiSky.
The first flight will take place on December 21, but tickets are already available in the company's booking system, with prices starting at 69 euros per segment. Flights will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, with departures from Bucharest and return on the same day, as reported by Business Review.
The new route is part of the company's announced schedule for the winter season, and given the launch over the holidays, flights will also be operated on December 25 and January 1.
The city in southwestern France thus becomes the seventh international destination regularly served by HiSky from its Bucharest operating base.
According to the company that manages the capital's largest airport, HiSky was ranked fourth on the list of airline operators in terms of the number of passengers carried in the first half of this year. Henri Coanda Airport is also the largest of the company's three operating bases.
