The artificial intelligence tool from Google can now help you plan your next vacation
Recently, Google's Bard AI service launched several new features that will be useful for travelers both when booking a trip and during the trip itself. Bard is a conversational AI service similar to ChatGPT, but its integration with user data helps turn it into a personal concierge.
Google has announced that Bard can now be integrated with various Google products, such as Gmail, Google Flights, and Google Maps, for seamless integration during a conversation with artificial intelligence. For example, you can now receive suggestions based on flight duration, preferences, and distance between destinations. This was reported by travelandleisure.com.
In his blog, Yuriy Pinsky, Director of Product Management at Bard, shares an example of how the service can be used for travel planning: "If you're planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, you can now ask Bard to pull dates from Gmail that work for everyone, view real-time flight and hotel information, see directions to the airport on Google Maps, and even watch YouTube videos about things to do there - all in one conversation."
The ability to combine Google Flights with Bard will help travelers find discounted flights or discover additional destinations to visit. Recently, Google Flights introduced new tools that can predict when a traveler will get the best deal on a flight.
For travelers who want to try Bard, it is currently available for free at bard.google.com.
