The cheapest and most expensive tourist destinations for 2024 have been named
Traveling has become somewhat of a luxury during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, and cheap airline and train tickets seem to be a thing of the past.
However, it is still possible to travel on a budget - you just need to know where to go. Fortunately, analysts from Wethrift have crunched the numbers and found the cheapest travel destinations for 2024, including Spain, Brazil, and Thailand, as reported by Aol.co.uk.
India's New Delhi has been named the cheapest place to visit this year, with more than 145 direct flights from the UK to choose from and the cost of a meal as low as £1.90.
India offers public transportation options for as little as 29p, and accommodation can be found for as little as £39 per night.
In second place was Hanoi in Vietnam, where drinks cost £1.06, and attraction tickets were only £38.19.
Egypt's Cairo and Hurghada were named third and fifth on the list, respectively, and Istanbul in Turkey was ranked fourth, with drinks for just £1.78.

This is due to the fact that accommodation costs an incredible £249.33 per night, and excursions average £147.49.
