The most beautiful cafe in the world: What attracts visitors to Hungarian "New York"
The New York Café is considered by many to be the most beautiful café in the world. It is famous for its live music, luxurious ceilings, and columns.
Interestingly, "New York" is actually located in Budapest, Hungary. It serves tea and cakes there in a very stylish way, The Sun writes.
Visitors claim that this is far from a simple cafe, but an ornate building with majestic columns, unusual decor, and live classical music.
"The columns, the lighting, the paintings are beautiful and the music is relaxing," customers say.
The cafe began its life as an insurance company's premises. The newly established department needed a hall, so a luxurious four-storey palace with a café was specially built on the first floor.
It opened its doors in 1894 and quickly became a favorite spot for artists, writers, and poets.
Now it serves delicate macarons and unusual cheesecakes, as well as exquisitely prepared hot chocolate and coffee.
Lunch options are also available.
