The mysterious carrier Janet Airlines: where it flies and why its flights are classified

Janet Airlines Boeing 737s are flying to one of the most mysterious and talked about places on Earth - Area 51, deep in the Nevada desert.
There, the United States government is developing its most secret military technologies. A mystery carrier is fueling speculation about secret UFO programs, writes the DailyMail.
Janet, whose name is rumored to stand for Joint Air Network for Employee Transportation or Just Another None Existent Terminal, has a fleet of six Boeing 737s. Its pilots also operate seven smaller Beechcraft propeller aircraft.
Janet's planes, which make the 87-mile journey from Vegas to Area 51, describe their destination as the mysterious Station 3.
Flight trackers show the planes traveling part of the way there, but they turn off their transponders about 12 miles before reaching their final destination, reports journalist Matt Lillywhite.
Earlier this year, an airplane adjuster filmed a video of a Boeing 737 Janet returning to Las Vegas airport shortly after takeoff following an unspecified malfunction.
