This man turned his SUV into a tiny house and found a way to avoid paying for electricity
With the cost of living and rent so high, many people are now turning to four wheels to save money and travel.
Arslan, a full-time nurse who turned his SUV into a fully functional camper, made this decision because he realized that renting was a waste of money. "I hate paying rent, and that's why I spent the last year converting my SUV into a new camper," he said on his TikTok (@solarcarcamper).
Specifically, he has outfitted his Chevrolet Suburban with a comfortable bed, countertops complete with cabinets, and other essentials.
He customized the camper so that it has running water for washing dishes, as well as pots and pans when he cooks dinner on his camping stove.
He recently installed solar panels on the roof of his Suburban, which are collected and stored in an external battery pack.
He uses it to power the water pump for the sink, interior lighting, and fans to charge his devices, and to keep food and drinks in the fridge cold.
