Tickets from £29.99: Ryanair will start flying from Norwich to three tourist destinations
This summer, Ryanair will start flying from Norwich Airport for the first time in its history. Passengers will be offered flights to three popular destinations - Alicante, Faro, and Malta - starting April 1, 2024.
The announcement was made on the Norwich Airport website. The company will introduce 12 flights a week to and from the administrative center of Norfolk County.
Ryanair is expected to serve 60,000 passengers next summer, employ 60 people, and promote inbound tourism in the region.
Norwich will become the 22nd airport in the UK to cooperate with Ryanair. The company's head of communications, Jade Kirwan, said at the airport that they will offer competitive fares and a wider choice of summer routes.
Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said: "Alicante, Faro, and Malta are hugely popular destinations, and with twice-weekly flights, we can offer passengers even more choice from the local airport."
To celebrate the start of Ryanair's cooperation with Norwich Airport, the airline has launched a seat sale starting from £29.99 for the period from April 2024 to October 2024. The discounts will be limited in time.
