Thailand attracts millions of tourists from all over the world with its vibrant nightlife, well-groomed beaches, and diverse entertainment. However, not everything this country has to offer is really necessary for experienced travelers.

Chloe, an individual traveler known on TikTok as @chloeroams, shared her impressions of her last trip to Thailand with her followers. Her video, in which she talks about what she believes to be a falsely promoted country, was viewed by more than 12,000 users.The Daily Mail reports what she was talking about.

7-Eleven ham and cheese toast

It is worth noting that this is not a unique or authentic offer from Thailand. However, they have been artificially advertised, and therefore have become a local curiosity. According to Chloe, despite the crazy popularity that influencers have made them, these toasts are not at all tasty and not worthy of attention.

"They're not good. No one I know likes them," Chloe said.

Maya Bay

This place became a cult among tourists after the 2000 movie "The Beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio. This beach is quite small, but it continues to attract a lot of tourists every day. It is noted that last year it was visited by up to 5,000 tourists a day, and it had to be closed for four months to allow the corals to grow and recover.

In order to preserve nature, the locals have taken certain measures, namely: boats are not allowed to enter the bay, drivers must disembark passengers at a nearby pier, and only 8 speedboats can dock at the same time. In addition, only up to 300 people are allowed to visit per hour from 10 to 16.

Chloe says: "It's literally just a beach, and since you can't swim in the water, it's just a beach you lie on."

This is a small town in Mae Hong Sun province in northern Thailand. Chloe says that in her opinion, there is not enough entertainment here, it's too monotonous and banal.

"I didn't appreciate it, and none of the activities other than the drunken driving stood out to me, and let's be honest, drunken driving is not the most cultured of activities," Chloe said.

Full Moon Party

It is noted that the tradition of holding this party began in 1980 and since then it has been attended by more than 30,000 people from all over the world. This festival takes place on the island of Ko Pangan and is accompanied by DJs, neon themes, and a lot of drinking.

However, Chloe notes that this festival is too overpriced, namely for accommodation, drinks and food. At the same time, she believes that this is not the best of the nightlife options that Thailand has to offer.

Chloe added that: "I know that spiking is very common at the full moon party as well, so for safety reasons, it's not a good thing."
