Tourist proves that staying in a 5-star all-inclusive hotel in Turkey is cheaper than renting in Manchester
Josh Kerr from Manchester shared an incredible find with his subscribers: A 28-day all-inclusive vacation in Turkey turned out to be cheaper than his monthly rent and bills at home.
For £938, Josh can book 28 nights at the 5-star Xoria Deluxe Resort in Antalya, including flights and meals. This is significantly cheaper than his rent in Manchester, which is £950 per month. The tourist shared his find on TikTok.
According to Zoopla, the average rent in the center of Manchester reaches £1,000 per month, and for some tenants it can reach £1,312.99 or even £3,282.50, The Scottish Sun reports.
"I don't mean to sound ridiculous, but I pay £950 for rent, bills, council tax and stuff like that," Josh is surprised.
He emphasizes that in Turkey, he is guaranteed breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks, and a comfortable room, while at home, a Briton has to do and buy all of this himself.
Thus, staying in a resort and warm country would be cheaper for some tourists than in the gloomy UK.
Josh's video on TikTok went viral, garnering 1 million views and many comments from people who are passionate about the idea and are seriously considering moving.
