On June 16, Transdev Sweden began operating the Mälartåg regional rail lines in the Stockholm-Mälardalen area, bringing significant improvements to the travel experience for regional commuters and tourists alike. The Mälartåg network covers five lines, stretching 1,060 kilometers and serving 44 stations. Annually, it accommodates around 12.5 million passengers, making it a vital part of the region's transport infrastructure.
