The UAE and Uzbekistan have agreed on a visa-free regime
The UAE and Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of understanding for reciprocal exemption from visa requirements for holders of ordinary, diplomatic, special, and mission passports. This agreement will simplify travel opportunities for residents of both countries.
UAE citizens with valid passports, with a validity of at least six months, are now exempt from obtaining a visa to enter Uzbekistan. Previously, they were required to obtain an electronic visa. Now they can stay in the country for up to 30 days in a single visit," according to Khaleej Times.
Similarly, citizens of Uzbekistan who possess biometric passports (international passports for traveling abroad or domestic passports for returning to Uzbekistan) are also exempt from needing a visa to enter the UAE.
