United Airlines Introduces Wrexham AFC-Themed Amenity Kits and Pajamas
United Airlines has unveiled new, limited-edition amenity kits and pajamas celebrating the recent promotion of Wrexham AFC to League One. This launch coincides with the global popularity of the Emmy award-winning show "FX's Welcome to Wrexham," now streaming on Hulu.
Starting June 1, premium cabin passengers on select international flights will receive these complimentary Wrexham AFC-inspired items. The amenity kits include travel essentials such as an eye mask, toothbrush, toothpaste, and exclusive Therabody skincare products. United Polaris customers on flights lasting 14 hours or more will also receive pajamas designed to resemble the team’s uniforms.
This initiative is part of United Airlines' broader sponsorship of Wrexham AFC. The collaboration features toiletry cases and pouches adorned with the Wrexham crest, available in various colors. These items reflect the team’s branding and are designed to enhance the travel experience for United’s premium passengers.
United’s partnership with Wrexham AFC extends beyond in-flight amenities. The airline is the front-of-jersey sponsor for the team's men’s and women’s squads and will support the club's North American summer tour. This sponsorship includes exclusive offerings for MileagePlus members, further strengthening the connection between the airline and the football club.
