Vietjet’s New Routes Unlock Easier Access to China
Vietjet has unveiled direct flights connecting Vietnam with Beijing and Guangzhou, set to commence on March 30, 2025. These services will include daily flights from Ho Chi Minh City to both destinations, while Hanoi will have alternate-day flights to Beijing and daily flights to Guangzhou. This expansion provides 24 weekly return flights, offering greater accessibility for travelers between the two countries during one of Asia's busiest travel seasons.
The new routes mark a notable addition to Vietjet’s network in China, complementing existing services to Shanghai, Chengdu, and Xi'an. By linking two key Chinese cities with Vietnam, the airline addresses the growing demand for international travel. These routes are expected to facilitate smoother travel experiences for tourists and business travelers alike, particularly during the vibrant Lunar New Year celebrations in 2025.
For travelers, Beijing presents an opportunity to explore landmarks like the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, along with modern attractions such as the bustling districts around Sanlitun. Guangzhou, on the other hand, offers a blend of history and culture, with highlights including the Canton Tower, the ancient Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, and its world-famous Cantonese cuisine. These routes simplify travel to destinations brimming with cultural and historical significance.
Vietnamese travelers can look forward to convenient access to Chinese destinations, while international tourists visiting Vietnam can now incorporate China into their itineraries more seamlessly. From exploring vibrant markets in Hanoi to extending journeys into China’s rich heritage, the new routes create opportunities for cross-cultural discovery and enhance travel flexibility across Asia. This development also makes it easier to coordinate multi-destination trips across Southeast Asia and China.
This development signals an important step in strengthening regional connectivity. For travelers, it means more flight options, reduced travel times, and enhanced accessibility to two of Asia’s prominent cultural and economic centers. Vietjet’s expanded services reflect the continuing recovery of international tourism and highlight the growing interconnectedness of Asia's travel hubs, promising enriching experiences for travelers across the region.
