The UK Post Office's annual travel money report evaluated 37 European cities for the cost of short breaks. The analysis included expenses for accommodation, meals, and cultural attractions.

Vilnius Emerges as Europe's Most Affordable City
Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, has reclaimed its title as the best-value destination. Its travel costs are over 10% lower than those in Lisbon, the runner-up, and less than half the costs in 18 other surveyed cities.
Lisbon, despite a 26% rise in the cost of three-star accommodations, remains the best-value city in Western Europe due to its affordable meals, drinks, and tourist activities. Lille, France, climbed to third place with a 30% reduction in accommodation prices.
Amsterdam Is Europe's Most Expensive City
Amsterdam tops the list of Europe’s most expensive cities for vacations, even though it experienced an 8.3% price drop. In the UK, Belfast and Edinburgh are the priciest capitals.
