Few people know this, but the economy, premium economy, business, and first class can differ significantly depending on the companies and the investments they make in the development of aircraft cabins. However, after the pandemic, premium economy and business class have become the most popular options, forcing companies to think about improving the flight experience in these cabins, providing customers with significant benefits and comfort.

A great example of this development is Qatar Airways, the national airline of Qatar, which is known for its best business class in the segment. Simple Flying offers to familiarize you with 5 unique features of the QSuite class that are worthy of travelers' attention.

Access to the branded lounge

Even before boarding, customers have automatic access to one of the carrier's branded lounges - Qatar Airways Al Mourjan. These lounges have two floors covering an area of 9,200 m² and can accommodate up to 1,000 passengers. Here you can relax, visit 2 game rooms, and head to the beverage counter or the buffet to enjoy cold and hot dishes, sushi, and an à la carte menu.

Unique cabin

The QSuite cabins have a 1-2-1 layout, allowing passengers to have direct access to the passageway. Customers can move freely around the cabin in each of the company's aircraft, such as: Boeing B777-200LR, Boeing B777-300ER, Airbus A350-900, and Airbus A350-1000.

The Boeing 777 seats 42 passengers in 11 rows, distributed between two sections of the cabin. The Airbus A350-900 36 QSuites has 9 rows in two business cabins, with odd seats facing back. In turn, the Airbus A350-100 has 12 rows and 46 suites, with odd seats facing rearward.

Cabins for couples

Couples can book double beds in the middle section of QSuite. This is a unique offer offered by the business travel segment. To determine if you are eligible for this privilege, make sure you are traveling in E or F rows on a Boeing 777 or Airbus A350-1000: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. If you are traveling on an Airbus A350-900, please note that the exception is row 11, which is not part of the business class cabin.

Benefits for business travelers

Initially, this class was designed primarily for business travelers of up to 4 people, but now it is actively used by tourists. Qatar Airways offered a unique "Quad" seating concept, which allows four passengers in the middle of the cabin to close the partition behind the entertainment screens and use a common table to share a meal or discuss business.

Unique seats

The seats in this business class are equipped with NFC technology, which allows you to connect to the Qatar Airways app to listen to playlists that help you relax and sleep. The seats feature illuminated "Do Not Disturb" signs, a 21.5-inch touchscreen inflight entertainment (IFE) system, and nearly 4,000 content options. Passengers also receive luxurious grooming kits from the exquisite French brand Diptyque
