The North Korean border town of Sinuiju is closely adjacent to China, separated only by the Yalu River.

Reddit user XiaoHao2 launched a drone from Chinese territory and took pictures of Sinuiju back in 2020 but decided to share them only now. Apparently, he was afraid of the threat to his own safety.

In the footage, you can see that there are almost no cars on the streets of the city. Instead of traffic lights, there are traffic controllers, and red banners with slogans and portraits of DPRK leaders hang on the buildings.

On his page, the Chinese resident expressed hope that Reddit would preserve his anonymity.

As TravelWise reported, South Korea, unlike the DPRK, is open to tourists. Recently, a list of tourist destinations in this country dedicated to dragons was published. It was compiled by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) and the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO).
