A female orangutan turned into a sex slave rescued in Indonesia
A female orangutan, who had been abused for several years, was rescued in Indonesia.

The orangutan named Pony had been in captivity for a long time. Its owner kept the animal as a sex slave on a chain, regularly shaved it and sold it to men for sexual services for money.
Animal rights activists tried to free the monkey many times, but the owner did not want to let her go. The animal was finally rescued only after the intervention of the police and military.
The monkey was transferred to a rehabilitation center.
Due to psychological trauma, Pony was unable to find food on her own for a long time. At the moment, it is in an enclosure with other animals. Specialists are monitoring its condition.
