A new airline, Bees Airlines, which was founded in Romania and has Ukrainian roots, has appeared on the horizon. Reportedly, the first flights between Bucharest and Craiova have already taken place.

According to Flightradar24, the Bees Airlines aircraft was actively operating these flights during the week of March 19-25. According to avianews.com, the airline plans to operate international charter flights from Bucharest to popular resorts in Egypt, Turkey, and other countries.

Thus, it can be concluded that the first flights between Romanian cities were necessary to complete certification and crew training.

It is known that Bees Airlines operates one Airbus A320 aircraft with the registration YR-BUZ. It was manufactured in 2003 and previously flew in the UK and Australia. It is noted that the fuselage of the airliner has an advertisement for the Turkish amusement park The land of legends.

It is worth noting that the new airline is related to Ukraine. According to media reports, an investor who previously followed the development of the Ukrainian company has acquired the rights to the trademark and is launching a similar project in Romania.

The names of the Ukrainian and Romanian airlines differ by only one letter and have a similar style. They are called Bees Airline (Ukraine) and Bees Airlines (Romania).

However, the Ukrainian carrier flew American Boeing 737-800s, while the Romanian carrier chose European Airbus A320s for its fleet.

It is worth reminding that Kazakhstan and Cyprus are planning to launch direct flights. Details were previously reported by TravelWise.
