A unique hotel complex Qvevrebi has opened in Georgia, with cottages made in the style of wine vessels, which the country's inhabitants call kvevri. It is located in Kakheti and started operating in September this year.
The territory has not only original houses, but also a vineyard, a swimming pool, playgrounds and much more. The advantages of the picturesque complex are described on the website.
Kvevri is a traditional Georgian large egg-shaped clay vessel used for wine fermentation underground or placed on the floor of large wine cellars.
The owners describe the hotel as "a combination of timeless winemaking charm and modern comfort". Qvevrebi's concept assumes that guests will not only have a good rest, but also get acquainted with the culture of Georgia.
Visitors are offered evening entertainment, housekeeping, a 24-hour front desk, a restaurant, a security camera, and, of course, a stunning location that offers views of hills, vineyards, and mountains.
The cottages, made in the style of clay jugs, are fully equipped inside for a comfortable stay. There are options with a double bed and two single beds.
The hotel staff is ready to help guests with planning a tour of the region. The website says that the area around the complex is rich in attractions, charming villages, and natural wonders.
You can stay in small houses with your loved ones or organize a festive event, such as a birthday, wedding, or reunion.
The price of a cottage for two people on Sunday through Thursday is about £100, and on Friday and Saturday - up to £150 on Booking. Prices will rise closer to Christmas.
