In a landmark move, Adventures by Disney is set to launch its first-ever Adriatic Sea Expedition Cruise in 2024. The enchanting journey will take guests on an eight-day, seven-night round-trip from the romantic city of Venice, Italy, exploring the rich history, delectable cuisine, and breathtaking vistas of the Adriatic Sea. Two sailings are scheduled for 2024, departing on June 25 and July 2.

Sailing on the luxurious PONANT ship Le Bougainville, purpose-built for intimate and remote locations, families will delve into the cultural treasures along the Adriatic Sea coastline. The voyage promises a tapestry of experiences, including island hopping, immersive explorations and culinary delights-from tasting Mali Ston oysters in Korcula to kayaking in Hvar's Pakleni Islands, each day brings new adventures curated by Disney's travel experts.

Guests can anticipate biking through UNESCO's Stari Grad Plain, sampling local delicacies like Dalmatian Prosciutto, and exploring the charming Boka Bay in Montenegro. The itinerary also includes visits to medieval Croatian port-towns, the world-famous Predjama Castle in Slovenia, and the underground wonders of Postojna Cave.

Adventures by Disney's signature service and storytelling come alive through a team of Disney-trained Adventure Guides. These guides, numbering up to six, will accompany guests on the Adriatic Expedition Cruise, leading themed activities both aboard and ashore. From karaoke nights and trivia contests to exclusive excursions, every moment is crafted for an unforgettable family experience.

Onboard activities cater to all family members. Adults can enjoy cocktail workshops and fitness classes, while Junior Adventurers (12 years and younger) have their own set of exclusive programming, including themed swim parties and scavenger hunts.

Adventures by Disney also announces additional expedition cruises for 2024, catering to those seeking more extraordinary experiences. Destinations include Antarctica and Patagonia, the Arctic, and the Galapagos Islands. Each itinerary promises a unique exploration of wildlife, landscapes, and cultures, ensuring a diverse array of choices for the adventurous traveler.

Guests can extend their cruise vacations with Adventures by Disney Escapes in select cities, offering deeper dives into regional culture, history, and landscapes. Whether exploring Buenos Aires before an Antarctica Expedition Cruise or delving into the Amazon rainforest ahead of a Galapagos Islands Expedition Cruise, these escapes enhance the overall adventure.

In summary, Adventures by Disney's debut Adriatic Sea Expedition Cruise in 2024 opens new horizons for families seeking a perfect blend of luxury, culture, and exploration. The carefully curated itinerary promises a magical journey along the captivating Adriatic coastline, setting the stage for a memorable seafaring adventure.
