Air France Announces New Winter Routes for 2024-2025 Season
Starting November 2024, Air France will introduce new routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Salvador in Brazil, Malé in the Maldives, and Kiruna in Sweden, as part of its 2024-2025 winter schedule. The airline will also extend winter services to Denver, Colorado, and Phoenix, Arizona.
The new service to Salvador, Brazil, will begin on October 28, 2024, with three weekly flights on an Airbus A350-900. Salvador, a UNESCO World Heritage site, becomes Air France's fifth Brazilian destination. Additionally, through a partnership with GOL, passengers can connect to 40 domestic destinations in Brazil.
Flights to Malé in the Maldives will run twice a week from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, on Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This seasonal service caters to holiday travelers seeking a tropical getaway during the peak winter period.
Air France's new route to Kiruna, Sweden, starting on December 21, 2024, will operate once a week on an Airbus A319. Kiruna, located in Swedish Lapland, offers travelers a chance to experience the Arctic wilderness and the Northern Lights.
In addition to these new routes, Air France is extending its services to Denver and Phoenix, providing three weekly flights to each city throughout the winter. The Denver route, previously a summer-only service, and the newly launched Phoenix route will both enhance Air France's presence in the US market.
These expansions reflect Air France's commitment to broadening its global network and offering diverse travel options to its customers. As the airline enhances connectivity to new and existing destinations, travelers can look forward to exploring a wider array of cultures and experiences.
