Alaska Airlines Enhances Popular Flight Pass Subscription Service
Alaska Airlines has introduced several upgrades to its Flight Pass subscription service, making the program more accessible and improving the booking experience. These changes are based on customer feedback and focus on increasing flexibility, offering complimentary upgrades for eligible passengers, and streamlining access to services.
Launched in 2021, Flight Pass allows passengers to book a specific number of round trips per year on routes within Alaska Airlines' West Coast network. The service offers two plans: a $69 per month option for six annual round trips, and a $129 per month plan for twelve round trips. Mileage Plan members can earn miles and enjoy complimentary upgrades based on seat availability.
The airline has also simplified access to the service by adding an easy-to-find booking page on its website and offering new management tools for booking and canceling flights. In addition, a one-year complimentary subscription to Alaska Access is available for a limited time.
The new enhancements are expected to make the service even more appealing to frequent flyers on the West Coast, where the airline’s network is primarily focused.
