American Airlines flight 590 from Tampa to Phoenix experienced a dramatic turn of events this morning when the tires on its right main gear burst during takeoff preparation. The incident occurred at Tampa International Airport (TPA) as the aircraft was accelerating to a speed of approximately 150 knots.
