Condor Welcomes Second A330neo to Fleet

On Thursday at around 4:50 p.m., the Condor A330neo, registered as D-ANRH, landed at Frankfurt Airport. This marks the second new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft that Condor has received this December. Notably, this aircraft is the first in the fleet to be painted in the distinctive "Beach" color scheme. Its first commercial flight is scheduled for mid-January, heading to the Indian Ocean, with subsequent destinations including the Maldives and Punta Cana.

The A330neo promises significantly more space, the latest in-flight entertainment, and onboard connectivity, aiming to enhance the travel experience for passengers. It features state-of-the-art Rolls Royce Trent 7000 engines known for their efficiency and capability to operate on sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), leading to 20% lower CO2 emissions and significant fuel savings. Additionally, the Airbus A330neo is the first aircraft to be certified for the CO2 emissions reduction regulations that will take effect in 2028.

Condor expects the next A330neo delivery by the end of January. The airline plans to introduce around one new A330neo per month as part of its long-haul fleet renewal until 2024, replacing the current B767 models. This fleet upgrade aims to offer passengers a more comfortable and eco-friendly flying experience, reflecting Condor's commitment to sustainability and modernization.
