Disney Implements Lifetime Bans for Guests Faking Disabilities to Skip Lines

Disney is implementing strict measures against individuals who falsely claim disabilities to gain unfair advantages at its parks. Those caught exploiting the Disability Access Service program face lifetime bans from Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Starting May 20 at Walt Disney World and June 18 at Disneyland, visitors must adhere to the revised policy. Guests found providing false information during the DAS application process risk permanent expulsion from the resorts and any previously purchased passes or tickets will be voided without refunds.

The DAS program facilitates access for individuals with disabilities by allowing them to reserve virtual queue spots and wait elsewhere until their turn. While not all disabilities qualify, those with challenges in queuing, such as developmental disorders like autism, can benefit from this service.

To enroll in the revised DAS program, guests must participate in a virtual meeting with experts from Inspire Health Alliance. Although medical documentation isn't mandatory, health professionals will evaluate each case to determine eligibility. Additionally, existing DAS members must reapply to prevent misuse of the system.
