Today, easyJet and UNICEF have launched the ‘Every Child Can Fly’ campaign, aiming to support UNICEF's mission of providing quality education to all children by 2030. The campaign is now active on easyJet flights, inviting passengers to contribute to this vital cause.

Throughout the summer, over 29 million easyJet passengers on more than 190,000 flights across 33 countries will have the opportunity to donate to UNICEF through onboard collections. This initiative is part of easyJet’s ongoing effort to support global education, a partnership that has raised nearly £17 million since its inception.

The funds raised through the ‘Every Child Can Fly’ campaign will help UNICEF address the urgent educational needs of approximately 226 million children worldwide who are currently unable to access quality education due to conflicts and emergencies. These contributions are vital for creating safe learning environments and providing educational materials during crises.

In addition to onboard collections, easyJet has integrated donation options into their online booking system, allowing passengers to contribute when purchasing their tickets. This seamless integration has significantly increased the total donations, as it provides an easy and convenient way for travelers to support UNICEF’s mission.

Donations from easyJet customers could enable UNICEF to purchase over 2,000 tents for safe learning spaces or provide more than 20,000 school-in-a-box kits, benefiting at least 830,000 children. Children like Mohammad Salem from Yemen, who dreams of becoming a pilot, will directly benefit from these initiatives. Despite the challenging conditions, Mohammad attends school every day, inspired by the educational supplies provided by UNICEF.

Michael Brown, Director of Cabin Services at easyJet, expressed pride in launching the summer collection, highlighting the dedication of easyJet's crew and the generosity of its customers. Mohini Raichura-Brown, Chief Partnerships Officer at UNICEF UK, emphasized the critical need for global educational support, especially in times of conflict and emergency.

Since 2012, the partnership between easyJet and UNICEF has made significant strides in tackling global educational challenges, including combating polio, COVID-19, and ensuring access to education in emergencies. This summer’s campaign continues this impactful legacy, striving to make a real difference in the lives of millions of children worldwide.
