This summer, easyJet is set to experience its busiest season ever, with plans to operate 80,000 flights during the school holidays. The airline expects its highest traffic day on July 28, with over 300,000 passengers scheduled to fly on nearly 2,000 flights across its European network.

On July 28, easyJet will see its peak day with an anticipated 300,000 passengers taking off on nearly 2,000 flights. This surge is driven by families across the UK heading off for summer vacations.

Top destinations this summer include beach spots like Palma, Faro, and Malaga, as well as vibrant cities such as Barcelona and Nice. The Greek Islands and Turkey have also gained popularity, seeing an increase in bookings compared to last year.

Interestingly, easyJet has also reported a notable rise in eco-conscious travelers opting for its carbon offset program, which allows passengers to offset the carbon emissions of their flights. This reflects a growing trend among travelers to seek more sustainable travel options, aligning with easyJet's efforts to become a more environmentally friendly airline.

With school holidays in full swing, easyJet holidays is preparing for its busiest season, providing package getaways for thousands of customers. Popular family destinations include Antalya, Izmir, Menorca, and Hurghada, with all-inclusive options being particularly favored.

Domestically, Edinburgh and Belfast are the top choices for those traveling within the UK, as people visit friends and family during the summer.

Ali Gayward, easyJet's UK Country Manager, expressed enthusiasm about the busy season: "We’re thrilled to see so many choosing easyJet for their summer travels. We’re committed to making travel easy and affordable."

Late summer fares to popular destinations across Europe are still available at competitive prices. For example, flights from London Gatwick to destinations like Copenhagen and Paris start at £17.99.

In addition to flights, easyJet holidays offers various package deals, such as seven nights at the 4* Julian Club Hotel in Dalaman for £505 per person, including flights and transfers.
