A Ryanair flight from Milan to Knock Airport made an emergency landing at Dublin Airport last night due to a minor technical issue with the aircraft. The incident occurred when the plane, en route to Knock, had to divert to Dublin as a precautionary measure.

The flight experienced strong vibrations in the left-hand side engine, prompting the crew to declare an emergency while flying over Wales. They were forced to run the engine on idle, relying on a single engine to power the aircraft. Emergency vehicles and engineers were on standby at Dublin Airport to ensure a safe landing.

The aircraft landed safely at 6:20 PM with no reported problems. Engineers conducted a thorough inspection, although details of the technical issue have yet to be disclosed. Passengers were promptly transferred to a replacement aircraft, which departed for Knock at 8:45 PM, arriving 2 hours and 25 minutes behind schedule.

A spokesperson for Ryanair confirmed the diversion, emphasizing that the aircraft landed normally and was taken for inspection by engineers. Passengers continued their journey with minimal disruption, showcasing Ryanair's commitment to safety and efficiency in handling unexpected situations.
