Emirates Launches Bonus Miles Offer in Partnership with Marriott Bonvoy

Emirates has introduced a new bonus miles offer in collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy, enhancing benefits for members of both loyalty programs. This offer is available to all Emirates Skywards members who have opted into the Your World Reward program.

Under this partnership, Emirates Skywards members can earn Skywards Miles when staying at over 8,500 Marriott Bonvoy hotels across 31 brands. Additionally, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn 3 points for every USD 1 spent on Emirates flights, alongside earning Skywards Miles.

The airline detailed the new program on its signup page, stating:

  • Earn Skywards Miles when staying at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels.
  • Marriott Bonvoy members earn 3 points per USD 1 spent on Emirates flights, in addition to Skywards Miles.
  • Skywards Members earn 1 Skywards Mile per USD 1 spent on eligible Marriott Bonvoy hotel stays, along with Marriott Bonvoy points.

On May 18, Emirates communicated the benefits via email, highlighting that Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite and higher-tier members earn 3 points per USD on eligible Emirates flights. Furthermore, Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, and Ambassador Elite members receive in-airport benefits such as priority check-in and boarding.

Emirates Skywards Silver, Gold, and Platinum members earn 1 Skywards Mile per USD on eligible Marriott Bonvoy stays. Gold and Platinum members also enjoy benefits like late checkout and complimentary in-room WiFi at Marriott Bonvoy properties.

How to Earn Skywards Miles

There are several ways to accrue Emirates Skywards Miles:

    • Economy Promo: 450 miles
    • Economy Saver: 900 miles
    • Economy Flex: 2,250 miles
    • Economy Flex Plus: 3,000 miles
    • Business Special: 3,300 miles
    • Business Saver: 3,750 miles
    • Business Flex: 5,250 miles
    • Business Flex Plus: 5,700 miles
    • First Flex: 7,500 miles
    • First Flex Plus: 7,500 miles

For instance, a round trip from London to Dubai in economy class requires 45,000 miles.

  1. Credit Card and Banking Activities:
    • Emirates offers co-branded credit cards in key markets such as the UAE, India, and the US.
    • In the UAE, cards provide benefits like direct Gold status and 100,000 miles upon reaching spending targets.
    • In India, ICICI Bank offers three credit cards with perks including Silver status and 10,000 miles upon signing up.
