Eurostar launches new routes to Europe from the UK
Eurostar is launching new routes to Europe from the UK. Ticket prices start from 99 pounds sterling.
These are routes from London St. Pancras to two destinations in France, such as Moutiers and Bourg St. Maurice, The Sun reports.
An alliance between Eurostar and Thalys called Eurostar-Snow will allow passengers to change trains in Lille on their way to popular ski destinations. Other destinations where it will stop include Chambéry, Albertville, Aime-la-Plagne, and Landry.
The service will start on December 16 and will be active eight weekends during the ski season.
Trains will depart from the UK on Saturday morning and return to London on Sunday afternoon.
François Le Doze, Chief Commercial Officer of Eurostar Group, said, "We are proud to offer our customers an eco-friendly option to travel to the Alps with the launch of our first Eurostar Group service."
