Fire at JFK Airport Leaves Several Injured, Prompts Evacuations

On Wednesday morning, an escalator fire at Terminal 8 of JFK Airport in Queens, NYC, led to the evacuation of approximately 960 people. According to the FDNY, the fire, which started from an escalator, resulted in several injuries. Fortunately, the injuries were not life-threatening.
