First Bus Launches New Service to M&D’s Theme Park
From June 29 until August 13, First Bus will operate two dedicated services to M&D’s Theme Park, including a direct route from Glasgow's city center. The express X7 service will depart from Buchanan Bus Station and take approximately 20 minutes to reach the park. Operating daily from 10:30 to 18:30, this new service aims to make the theme park more accessible for visitors.
Additionally, a second route will run from Hamilton Bus Station, making stops in Motherwell and Bellshill before arriving at the park. This provides an alternative for those in the surrounding areas, ensuring that more families can take advantage of the easy transportation to M&D’s.
Tickets for the X7 service from Buchanan Bus Station are priced at £8 for adults and £6 for children, covering all-day travel. Passengers will also receive a voucher from the driver for £4 off their wristband at the park, adding extra value to the trip.
The introduction of these new routes is expected to enhance the travel experience for those planning a visit to M&D’s Theme Park, offering a straightforward and affordable travel option. This initiative by First Bus provides a hassle-free travel option for families looking to enjoy a day out, making it easier than ever to access one of Scotland’s popular attractions.
First Bus's new service underscores the company's commitment to improving transportation options and supporting local tourism. By facilitating easier access to M&D’s Theme Park, First Bus helps to ensure that more families can enjoy a fun-filled day out with minimal travel stress.
