"The Bachelor" star Matt James, who has become an influential food enthusiast, has been captivated by Japanese McDonald's, showcasing the impressive range of "delicious" dishes available in the chain.

In the clip, which has garnered over 312,000 views to date, Matt began by highlighting some of the notable differences between McDonald's in the US and Japan.

"Japanese McDonald's is open 24 hours a day and seats over 200 people," he explained before delving into the menu.

The first item he sampled was the Godzilla burger with teriyaki cheese, which he remarked on: "This bun is so soft." He continued: "It tastes like a sausage biscuit. And it looks like a sausage biscuit. It's amazing."

Next, he tried the spicy beef and potatoes. Matt remarked: "This is my favorite dish. It's like a spicy chicken sandwich from Popeye's."

The third Godzilla burger, the pepper chicken version, prompted the reality TV star to exclaim: "The buns... everything. Best fast-food bun I've ever had. Holy shit. It's like a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit."

Rachel then turned her attention to the fries before trying the Shaka Shaka Chicken, which comes with a choice of two toppings - red pepper or cheese. She took a sachet of red pepper, poured it into a bag, and shook the crispy chicken fillet until it was coated with the seasoning.

The couple enjoyed the dish with a bit of wasabi mustard, as Matt remarked: "The chicken was really good. With that mustard, it could pass for homemade."

Last but not least, the TV presenter brought out his dessert, an apple pie with toffee. Even before taking a bite, he commented that it was "super crispy."

Matt then tasted it and said it was "the best apple pie I've ever had."

He captioned the video: "McDonald's in Japan is amazing! I highly recommend going to a McDonald's if you're traveling to see how unique they all are."

Soon, his video was inundated with comments from his 578,000 subscribers who expressed their desire to try the food for themselves.

One person wrote: "The only problem with this trip is that I can't go there right now and try all your recommendations." Another added: "I have to fly there just for the McDonald's," to which Matt replied: "It looks insane, right?"

Other commenters noted the disparity between American McDonald's and the chain's international restaurants. One person wrote: "I wish it was like this in America." Another commented: "McDonald's is so unfair! Why isn't there such deliciousness in the US?"
