A hotel has emerged in Anaheim, California, where the entire renovation showcases Pixar cartoon characters. Walt Disney Co. acquired the property in Anaheim in 1995, when the 15-story building was known as the Pan Pacific Hotel, later rebranded as Paradise Pier.

Following the renovation, the hotel was renamed Pixar Place Hotel. The Los Angeles Times reports on this new destination that is sure to captivate animation fans.

From the moment you step inside, you'll be immersed in an atmosphere reminiscent of the company's official office: a large table lamp inspired by the Luxo Jr. lamp from the Pixar logo, adorned with a red star.

The reception area features a blend of Pixar character designs. The sofa, shaped like Heimlich's caterpillar from A Bug's Life, adds a touch of playfulness. Pay attention to details such as the back of the lobby sofa, which is inspired by sketches of Remy from Ratatouille on the wall.

The corridors no longer resemble suburban areas, thanks to revolutionary changes. Now you encounter a modern and sophisticated look of the hotel - its walls are painted white with thin colored stripes, inviting you into a world of magic and imagination.

Hidden caricatures of characters made of stainless steel give this place a special charm. Models from movies such as Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo are presented in backlit glass cases, creating a mesmerizing effect.

In the back of the lobby, you will see wall sketches that transform into lighted, frame-style portraits, showcasing the evolution from hand-drawn animation to computer-generated animation. Most of the artwork was created specifically for the hotel, including the colorful Finding Nemo wall opposite the reception desks.

The lobby showcases a large mobile with abstract figures from various Pixar films, such as The Incredibles, WALL-E, and Finding Nemo. The colored panels around the area react to the music, creating a unique effect, especially in the evening.

The updated Pixar Place rooms feature more bright colors than before. The floors are decorated with wood paneling, and the rooms have been brightened by a large Pixar illustration above the bed. This painting is a mix of key scenes from popular Pixar films, including Up, Ratatouille, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Soul, Coco and Inside Out.

Each room is equipped with a hardcover Art of Pixar book and various images of the Pixar lamp and balloon that can be seen on the furniture, carpets and pillows.

In the lobby of the Pixar Place hotel, you can enjoy a performance by a jazz musician who impersonates Joe Gardner from Pixar's "Seul". This is just one of the unique interactions with characters that make your stay at the hotel unique and playful.
