A new water attraction, claiming to be the "world's first" city surf pool, is set to open in Rotterdam this summer. The RiF010 surf pool will bring a variety of water sports, typically found at the seaside, to the heart of the Dutch city starting in July. This innovative surf pool features a wave machine and a specially shaped bottom to create perfect surfing conditions. RiF010 aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of surfing, offering a unique urban venue for both locals and tourists.

In addition to surfing, the RiF010 attraction will include paddleboarding and scuba diving sessions. The facility boasts two pools: one designed for beginners and the other for more experienced surfers. The adjustable wave machine ensures optimal conditions for surfers of all skill levels. The pool is expected to draw significant interest from the local community and tourists alike, looking for exciting water sports activities in an urban setting.

The RiF010 complex will also feature a cycling track and a canoeing circuit for those interested in other sports. For visitors looking to relax, a beach house with a restaurant and surf bar will be available. The beach house will include changing rooms with warm showers for swimmers. This addition aims to create a comprehensive recreational spot where visitors can engage in various activities and unwind in a pleasant environment.

This new attraction adds another compelling reason to visit Rotterdam, an often overlooked city in the Netherlands. The innovative water sports facility aims to attract visitors and provide a unique urban adventure. The introduction of such a distinctive feature is likely to boost the city's appeal and support its tourism sector.
