In Indonesia, the first Hyatt Place hotel has opened

Hyatt Place Makassar, the first Hyatt Place hotel in Indonesia, has just opened, further expanding the global presence of the Hyatt Place brand in key markets for guests and World of Hyatt members.

This new property showcases the distinctive intuitive design, relaxed atmosphere, and practical features of the Hyatt Place brand, including free Wi-Fi and 24-hour dining options, as reported by Travel And Tour World.

The hotel is located on Sudirman Street and is part of a mixed-use complex next to the luxurious 31 Sudirman Suites. It is close to the bustling business sector, among well-known tourist spots, as well as local gastronomic and shopping areas, making it a sophisticated destination for business and leisure visitors alike.

"As Makassar continues to grow and prosper economically, we are pleased to add to this momentum by welcoming the first Hyatt Place hotel in Makassar," said General Manager Janita Supardjan. "With our thoughtfully designed social spaces and rooms with separate work and sleep areas, our multi-tasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do, whether for work or play."

Hyatt Place Makassar offers:

  • 145 spacious rooms with separate sleeping, working, and relaxing areas, as well as a cozy corner sofa bed for additional guests.
  • Complimentary breakfast with a selection of hot and cold dishes for every taste.
  • The market, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offers a range of freshly prepared, ready-to-eat meals.
  • The Placery, a place for specialty coffee, as well as a range of premium beers, wines, and cocktails.
  • An essentials program that allows guests to buy, borrow, or receive free items they may have forgotten about.
  • Free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel, including all rooms.
  • Event facilities, which include 360 square meters of diverse, technologically equipped meeting and event spaces.
  • A 24-hour fitness center equipped with cardio equipment with LCD displays.

As TravelWise wrote, Small Luxury Hotels of the World has terminated its partnership with Hyatt in favor of Hilton.
