Ireland is the "least dog-friendly country in Europe"
A remote worker wanted to "escape" Ireland, and that's exactly what she and her pet Molly did when they discovered that Europe is much more pet-friendly than Ireland.
World traveler Ariana Dunn has dubbed Ireland the "least dog-friendly" country in Europe. Ariana and her dog Molly decided to explore more of the world and travel around Europe during the Covid-19 pandemic while working remotely. This journey led the owner of the four-legged friend to conclude Ireland. The publication rsvplive.ie reports.
Ariana Dunn visited 11 countries and was amazed at how friendly and hospitable everyone was to Molly along the way.
Ariana said, "Europe is so dog-friendly. When I came back, Ireland was one of the least dog-friendly places I've ever been to."
While traveling in Europe, the pair enjoyed a life of luxury, and Ariana mentioned that Molly was welcomed wherever she went. "She was allowed into all the shops. In Italy, there are special shopping carts with little pictures of dogs that you can put your dog in."
Speaking about her experience traveling with a dog abroad, Ariana added, "Molly was on every public transportation; she kayaked with me on Lake Como - the dog is a great icebreaker. The number of people I talked to and even made friends with through Molly was fantastic."
