ITA Airways, the flag carrier of Italy, has announced the launch of a new nonstop flight route between Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Rome, Italy. Starting on October 29, 2024, this new service aims to strengthen the connectivity between the Middle East and Europe, providing passengers with a convenient and efficient travel option.

The new route is part of ITA Airways’ strategic expansion plan to enhance its international network and cater to the increasing demand for travel between these two regions. The flight will operate three times a week, offering both business and leisure travelers a seamless connection between Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport and Rome's Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport.

Enhanced Travel Experience

Passengers on the Jeddah-Rome route can look forward to ITA Airways’ renowned service and hospitality. The airline is committed to providing a high-quality travel experience, featuring state-of-the-art aircraft equipped with modern amenities. Travelers will enjoy comfortable seating, a wide range of in-flight entertainment options, and exceptional dining services that include both Italian and international cuisine.

Strengthening Economic and Cultural Ties

The introduction of the nonstop flight is expected to boost economic and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Italy. It will facilitate business exchanges and tourism, allowing easier access to Italy’s rich historical heritage and vibrant culture. Similarly, it will enable Italian travelers to explore the cultural and economic opportunities in Saudi Arabia, contributing to increased bilateral cooperation and understanding.

Convenient Schedules

The flight schedule is designed to offer maximum convenience for passengers. The Jeddah to Rome flights will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while the return flights from Rome to Jeddah will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This schedule allows travelers to plan flexible itineraries, whether they are embarking on a business trip, a cultural tour, or a vacation.

Commitment to Sustainability

In line with ITA Airways' commitment to sustainability, the new route will be serviced by fuel-efficient aircraft that reduce carbon emissions. The airline is focused on implementing eco-friendly practices and technologies to minimize its environmental impact, ensuring that passengers can enjoy responsible and sustainable travel.

Customer-Centric Approach

ITA Airways continues to prioritize customer satisfaction by offering comprehensive services and support. Passengers on the Jeddah-Rome route will benefit from the airline's extensive customer service network, which includes dedicated check-in counters, smooth baggage handling, and assistance with travel arrangements. Additionally, ITA Airways’ loyalty program, Volare, allows frequent flyers to earn and redeem points for flights and services, enhancing the overall travel experience.
