The Japanese hotel company Tripla is focused on developing East Asia thanks to its recent acquisition
Tokyo-based hotel solutions provider Tripla has acquired Singapore-based Endurance Technology Solutions, which includes the Pelican Hotel Solutions brand. The specific financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but Tripla said it will invest about $475,000 to buy out all existing Endurance shareholders and then make it a subsidiary of Tripla.
Tripla said the acquisition marks its "ambitious entry into the Thai and Vietnamese markets," which are experiencing a "surge in travel demand." Tripla provides a hotel reservation system, channel manager, loyalty software, corporate booking tools, marketing automation, an AI chatbot, and more to nearly 7,000 hotels. Founded in 2017, Endurance Technology Solutions operates in more than 150 hotels, mainly in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Endurance's main product is the Pelican Hotel Solution hotel reservation system.
"We intend to quickly integrate the Pelican Hotel Solution and Tripla Book booking systems, expand functionality, and accelerate business development in Southeast Asia. The entire group is working to achieve our goal of deploying the system in 10,000 properties," said Tripla CEO Kazuhisa Takahashi.
Hartono Liman, CEO of Endurance, emphasized that the acquisition of Endurance Technology Solution Pte Ltd as a subsidiary demonstrates the strong bond between the two companies, which are committed to growing and innovating in the hotel technology industry.
"We believe we can expect further synergies by combining this experience and Tripla's technology. The entire group will work together to drive technological innovation in the Asian hotel industry and increase value for stakeholders. In an ever-evolving global marketplace, we are committed to leveraging the combined strengths of each of our business units to continue to create lasting value," added Liman.
