Jeddah Back on British Airways' Route Map
British Airways has announced the reinstatement of its route to Jeddah, revealed at the GREAT FUTURES expo in Riyadh. This event aims to enhance business engagement between the UK and Saudi Arabia. The new route available for booking from 20 May 2024, with operations commencing on November 4, 2024. This year-round service will originate from London Heathrow.
The route will be serviced by the Boeing 787 fleet, providing a four-per-week connection between London and Jeddah, complementing the daily service to Riyadh from Heathrow Terminal 5. This expansion will significantly improve connectivity between the UK and Saudi Arabia.
British Airways' Chief Commercial Officer, Colm Lacy, highlighted the airline’s long-standing role in connecting families, friends, and businesses between the two countries. He emphasized the substantial business opportunities this renewed route will facilitate, strengthening ties between the UK and Saudi Arabia.
To celebrate the launch, British Airways is offering special return fares starting from 1905 SAR in World Traveller (economy) and 16079 SAR in Club World (business class). These fares are available for booking until June 5, 2024.
The planned timetable includes departures from London Heathrow on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 20:10, with arrivals in Jeddah at 05:30 the following day. Return flights will depart Jeddah at 07:55, arriving back in London at 11:45.
