A flight attendant has revealed a simple rule that makes passengers favorites among cabin crew. TUI employee and TikTok star, Mrs. Miva, recently shared advice on how to make life easier for flight attendants.

In her TikTok video, Mrs. Miva, who has over 33,000 followers, is seen opening a door ready for passengers to board. She captions the clip: "Things passengers do that just make sense." Her main advice is to "only stand up when the plane has reached its final parking position." She explains that the plane can reach speeds of up to 200-300 km/h on the ground, making it safer to stay seated until fully parked.

Reactions to her clip were largely positive. One follower commented: "I stay in my seat until everyone is out of the aisle. No point in it." Another agreed, stating: "Whenever I fly, I always prefer to stay seated instead of crowding into the aisle. The luggage usually takes a while to be offloaded anyway."

However, not everyone was convinced. Some passengers were skeptical, with one remarking: "Unfortunately never going to happen. I've had to ask passengers to step back." Another dismissed the suggestion, saying: "Nice try, I am standing up as soon as the plane lands."

Mrs. Miva also addressed why it takes so long to open the doors and why multiple doors are not used. She explained, "We have no control over it. We're waiting for the signal from the airport handling who have to adjust the stairs/air bridge so that every passenger can disembark safely. Otherwise, you would have to jump out."

In her most watched clip, with 18.7 million views, Mrs. Miva disclosed another aspect of cabin crew duties during boarding. She revealed that the greeting ritual is not just politeness but also a moment to assess if passengers are fit to fly, checking if individuals are "too drunk or sick."

"Did you know that your flight attendant greets you not only out of kindness but also to check whether you are too drunk or sick to fly?" Mrs. Miva highlighted this often-overlooked aspect of cabin crew responsibilities.

Her insights provide valuable tips for passengers who want to make a positive impression and ensure a smoother flight experience for everyone on board.
