KM Malta Airlines has launched its summer schedule for 2024
The successor to the national airline Air Malta, KM Malta Airlines, has launched its summer 2024 booking program. This new airline for the Maltese islands is now opening bookings for the summer program in two phases.
The first phase started on Monday, December 4, 2023, for all travel agents and third-party online booking platforms. Individual customers can also book at 21356000. The second phase will open on December 11, 2023, for direct online booking through the new KM Malta Airlines website and booking platform. This is stated in the material of the publication maltatoday.com.
Customers can find details of the summer program on social media. The schedule will be valid from March 31, 2024, to October 26, 2024. In total, the airline will serve 17 airports in 15 European cities, namely: Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Düsseldorf, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Lyon, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Prague, Rome, Vienna, and Zurich.
"Given the complexity of launching a new airline reservation system across multiple distribution channels, including travel agents, online travel trade platforms, partner airlines, corporate customers, and private passengers, KM Malta Airlines has approached the rollout of its reservation system in a structured, risk-managed, and planned phased implementation for the benefit of its customers and trading partners," the airline said.
The airline also added that KM Malta Airlines recognizes the value and significant contribution of its travel partners and online agents across Europe.
"Given that these channels are likely to contribute to very high demand for bookings in the early days, it is appropriate that booking platforms for these distribution channels are implemented first," the statement said.
KM Malta said that partnerships with other major airlines that provide onward passenger and cargo connections through key European hub airports are the foundation of connectivity and have been prioritized for early implementation.
