Lithuania banned passengers from disembarking Russian transit trains to Kaliningrad

The Lithuanian government has banned the disembarkation and embarkation of passengers at the Kędiai and Kybartai border crossings from trains bound for Kaliningrad.
The ban will take effect on March 1. In Lithuania, Russian trains stop at two stations - Kędiai and Kybartai. According to the rules of Russian Railways transportation, Russians could not get on them even before the ban, even if they had a Schengen visa, 15min.lt reports.

It is noted that the resolution also refers to "exceptional cases" in the ban. They will be determined by the State Border Guard Service (VSAT).
It is not specified whether the ban will affect Russians who have EU passports, visas, and residence permits.
