Pilot Alexandra Lane, who has been working for British Airways for almost seven years, has revealed how her colleagues can delight children traveling with the airline. And it's not just about a tour of the cockpit.

In an interview with Sun Online Travel, Olexandra Lane advised not to rush to the cockpit but to engage with the crew members and ask if they can come in. She emphasized that pilots are always happy to welcome guests, but you need to choose the right moment when the plane is at the airfield for safety reasons.

The pilot recommends coming at the end of the flight when pilots have more time and can share interesting facts, devote time to guests, and show them their workplace.

To make the cockpit visit even more exciting for younger passengers, Alexandra revealed that they have a special button that lights up the panel like a Christmas tree.

Children who visit the cockpit can receive free Future Pilot stickers and observe how the plane is flown.

Additionally, on British Airways flights, children can enjoy the Skyflyers entertainment package, which includes an eye mask, a postcard, and a flight log that can be filled out during the flight.
