As the Berlin International Airshow (ILA) kicks off on June 5th, 2024, Lufthansa is bringing a special message of European unity to the event. The airline will be operating 13 flights between Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and its Frankfurt hub on June 5-6, using an Airbus A320 adorned with the prominent slogan "Yes to Europe."

This special aircraft is part of a broader initiative by the Lufthansa Group, which has seen four Airbus A320s from Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings take to the skies with the pro-European message. By showcasing this visible display of unity, the airlines aim to promote the values of a free, peaceful, and integrated Europe.

The "Yes to Europe" flights to Berlin coincide with the upcoming European Parliament elections, which will take place from June 6-9, 2024. In Germany, citizens will have the opportunity to cast their votes on June 9th, and Lufthansa hopes that the special ILA flights will help generate excitement and awareness around this important democratic process.

As the world's leading civil aviation event, the Berlin International Airshow provides the perfect platform for Lufthansa to celebrate European unity and encourage participation in the EU elections. By bringing its "Yes to Europe" aircraft to the heart of the German capital, the airline is sending a powerful message of solidarity and shared values across the continent.
