Travelers faced significant disruptions on Tuesday as three of London's major train stations - Euston, Paddington, and Marylebone - experienced severe delays. Multiple incidents caused frustration and extended travel times for many passengers.

Services between Watford Junction and Euston were particularly affected, with trains either canceled or delayed by up to an hour until mid-afternoon. Additionally, a signalling fault caused major disruptions to trains to and from Marylebone, leaving passengers stranded for hours. This situation began to clear around 3pm.

The disruptions on Tuesday morning left many travelers stuck on stationary trains for over an hour. Commuters using the Chiltern Railways network were advised not to travel due to the extensive delays. Meanwhile, earlier disruptions had also impacted the Heathrow Express, Elizabeth Line, and Great Western Railway services between Paddington and Slough/Heathrow Terminals, which cleared up around 1pm.

Despite the resolution of issues at Euston, Paddington, and Marylebone, the disruption continued as an electricity failure affected services at London St Pancras International. This incident caused delays to Southeastern services to and from the station, with National Rail predicting the issues would persist until 7pm.

Travelers faced significant inconvenience, with many expressing frustration over the delays and the lack of clear communication from rail operators. The series of disruptions underscored the vulnerabilities in the rail network, highlighting the need for improvements to prevent future occurrences.

These disruptions caused ripple effects across the network, affecting not only local commutes but also longer journeys. Rail operators are working to resolve these issues and restore normal service as quickly as possible.
