In Bodrum, Turkey, the first MedBodrum festival is set to take place. The event will be held at the Castle of St. Peter, known for its underwater archaeology museum. The festival combines contemporary art, gastronomy, and music, attracting collectors, curators, artists, and chefs from around the world.

The festival's opening will take place at the Castle of St. Peter. Among the attendees will be artists Jake Chapman and Maryam Eisler, as well as musicians Skip Marley and Thievery Corporation, who will perform at the event.

Over four days, visitors will explore art installations curated by Jerome Sans. The installations will be located on the grounds of the Maçakizi hotel and its private villa. The Maçakizi hotel is known for its luxurious atmosphere.

Each day of the festival will begin with brunch, during which guests can discuss art and cuisine. The daily program includes relaxation on the beach deck. In the evenings, dinners will be hosted by chefs Enrico Cerea, Alejandro Serrano, and Deepanker Khosla, who will prepare dishes for the guests. The closing party will take place with music by Skip Marley.

The festival organizers plan to involve more Turkish artists and chefs for future events. With its unique combination of historical significance and modern allure, Maçakizi continues to be a pivotal part of Bodrum’s cultural fabric. As MedBodrum grows, it promises to enhance Bodrum’s reputation as a prime destination for those seeking a blend of history, art, and luxury.
