New Holiday Lodges Unveiled at Center Parcs
Center Parcs has introduced nine new lodges in the UK, ready for the summer season. These lodges are located at the Elveden Forest resort in Suffolk.
The newly opened lodges include four Woodland Plus and five Executive Plus options, offering two, three, and four-bedroom accommodations. Woodland Plus lodges feature a spacious kitchen with induction hobs, full-size fridge-freezers, and Nespresso coffee machines. The lounge area includes a smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, and electric fire, along with a large patio area for outdoor dining during warmer months.
Executive lodges offer similar amenities but come with additional features like an en suite for every bedroom and a bar unit. Depending on the specific lodge, guests can enjoy private saunas, games rooms, and summer houses equipped with football tables and bean bags. Other amenities include pizza ovens, BBQs, and yoga mats.
A Center Parcs spokesperson highlighted that these nine lodges are part of a test to explore new design ideas for future accommodations. Each lodge is uniquely designed to provide enhanced living areas and spacious outdoor spaces, allowing guests to maximize their time in the forest and enjoy quality moments with friends and family.
Apart from these new lodges, Elveden Forest offers a variety of other accommodations. Exclusive to this location are the Waterside Lodges, which feature private decks over the lake. Additionally, there are Treehouses that can accommodate up to eight people, each with a dedicated Treehouse host.
The 400-acre park also boasts a large watersports lake, the biggest among UK Center Parcs sites. Last year, the resort introduced a new £6.5 million Forest Spa, complete with steam rooms, saunas, and a redesigned Vitale Cafe Bar.
Center Parcs is also expanding other locations. Longford Forest is undergoing a significant £86 million expansion, adding 189 new lodges, a treetop sauna, and an extended waterpark. While the start date for these works is yet to be confirmed, the enhancements promise an enriched guest experience.
Looking beyond the UK, Center Parcs is set to open a new resort in Denmark next year. This will be the first Center Parcs in the country, featuring 440 holiday lodges, some with sea views, an activity center, and a beach cafe. It will be the 28th Center Parcs site, joining other European locations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
